And about me.

Hello, this is me.

I'm Stephanie, and I never know what to say about myself in these things.

I like (in no real order) food, sleep, Cape Cod, dreaming, reading my horoscope, being 21, being a child, carousels, travelling, writing, Boston, nice things, my car, my phone, my jobs, coffee, making up drinks, adding new twists to old recipes, Oreos (double-stuff), raisins, helping people, dancing, singing at the top of my lungs in the car, walking down the streets of Boston singing with Ted, chasing sunsets, Questions, coloring, staring at my hair, martinis, beer, driving around doing nothing, mine and Katie's life, Jeeps, being on Nantucket, driving in demolition derbies, my tattoo, sleeping in, lazy days, working out, and being somewhat of a contradiction.

I don't like geese or really birds in general (except ducks), fish, hospitals, watching the news, writing essays, doing lit reviews, getting homesick, people who play mind games, writer's block, the fact that I'll never beat Ted at anything, being overwhelmed, not having time to nap, knowing I'll never marry Joesph Gordon-Levitt, crying (except my eyes always look really good after), insomnia, "we need to talk", bad grades, the fact that I can't afford half the things I want, money in general, being called a hippie (sometimes) and when it rains.

Pleased to meet you. :)

Meet Ted!

Oh hello Ted.

Ted and I are different like Katie and I are the same- in all the best ways. We're constantly introducing each other to new things, and you'll often hear us say to the other, "Seriously?! You've never had/seen/tried that?" I've learned a lot from Ted in the year we've been friends, and even though compared to my friendships with Katie and James, Ted and I are very new friends, my life would suck without him. Plain and simple.

Ted loves to cook and Ted loves to eat. He loves a cozy movie night in just as much as a wild night out. He likes singing along to the radio and is just as sentimental as I am. He's a BEAST at the claw game that my mother would never let me play ("They're a rip off!") and actually, come to think of it, Ted's pretty beast at every single game ever.

No, really. I've won that stupid video game, You Don't Know Jack, against him twice, but nothing else that he hasn't forfeited. And all we do is compete. This benefits both of us- he gets an ego boost by winning everything, and I really just like to play.

Meet Katie!

This is Katie, my biffle. I'd love to explain our relationship to you, but this quote by her perfectly sums it up.

"Do you ever stop and think about how alike we really are? Sometimes I think our normal conversations aren't normal at all. Like, what are the chances you'd find someone in the world as weird as you?"

We're basically the same person, and we share everything- everything except taste and boys. If you were to assign us pink crayon color, she would be peachy pink and I would be glitter pink. That kind of same-but-different sort of thing.

Katie really loves cats, and she's good at art. She's a nursing student and she's going to be really good at it. She has an excellent work-play balance and really pretty hair. <3

About James.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again- James is the strangest person I've ever met, but I love him dearly for it.

When I met James, he was a little punk in third grade. He quickly befriended my babysitter's son (and also, my best friend) and was around all the time. We played together a lot, even though he would tease me like elementary school kids do.

Now, James is owner/tamer of the famous Neckbeard, an almost college graduate, and still the funniest person I know.

James loves skateboarding and snowboarding, and is famous for his crazy scenarios. I can't wait to live with this kid- with him, I'm pretty positive that every day is going to be crazy.

Hello this is us.

Dinner train 2011- aren't we all so cute?!

Hello, hello world! My name is Stephanie, and I'll introduce myself in a little bit. I've been toying with the idea of a foodie-type blog for awhile now, but then I realized that there's something more important to me in the world, and that's my friends.

You know what's awesome?

My best friends and I are going to be living together in a matter of a few short months, in the big city. It's going to be an adventure- and probably a sitcom.

I'm trying to think of the best way to introduce us and weave our stories together, so I drew you a timeline.

I don't usually go a day without talking to them or at least asking how their doing that day. I spend the majority of my time with these goons and I love every moment.
